1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using Make Effects, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, access tokens, connected tools, and provider credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Your content and generated media
You retain your rights in prompts, uploads, project data, and other content you submit. You grant Make Effects a limited license to host, process, copy, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
You are responsible for your content, your instructions, and how you use generated media. AI outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material produced for others. Make Effects does not guarantee that an output is unique, fit for a particular purpose, or free of third-party rights.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Make Effects to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- create, upload, or distribute harmful, fraudulent, or abusive material;
- probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or usage controls;
- access another user's account, space, or content without permission; or
- misrepresent AI-generated media in a deceptive or harmful way.
5. Providers and connected services
Make Effects uses third-party infrastructure, identity, billing, and AI providers. Provider features may have their own terms and availability limits. If you connect your own provider account or key, you authorize us to use it for your requested jobs, and you remain responsible for the provider's charges and terms.
6. Fees
Paid features, prices, meters, quotas, and renewal terms are shown before purchase or in the applicable billing surface. You authorize the billing provider to charge the selected payment method. Except where the law requires otherwise, charges for usage already incurred are non-refundable.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Make Effects or delete your account. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, comply with law, or prevent harm. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
8. Service changes and disclaimers
The service may change, experience interruptions, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, Make Effects is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Make Effects will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate channel.
